We went to the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG) and heard what they have been doing and are doing. The students were schooled in the rules of the Olympic Brand for the 2012 games. We went to the 23rd floor of the building after having our bags screened, our passports checked, and given visitor badges. Security is tight for the games and not just anyone can walk in and visit.
After a break for lunch, we returned to the hotel and the students began working in their new groups. Mondays are big picture concepting days. Brainstorming, researching, and tissue sketching abound. There are breaks when the students present their plethora of ideas to each other for feedback and further brainstorming.

Dying to see that info graphic! If I can just get a bit closer...trying, still trying...
