On Thursday the students began working at 9 and didn't really stop, except for a brief lunch break until 5:30ish. They were cramming to get their presentations ready for Friday's meeting. We had made London Eye Reservations for 8:30 - perfect for watching the sunset over London - and celebrating Ariel Roth's birthday. We left our hotel and walked for 15 minutes past Big Ben, over the Thames River to Localé an Italian Restaurant near the Eye and then walked to across the street for our trip. Once on board we took a bajillion pictures and sang Happy Birthday to Ariel and then walked home to work again. We all worked until close to 1 am, even the professors.
